Birgit Widmaier

Office Manager

Birgit Widmaier joined Quest University Canada's Office of Admission and Enrollment Services as an Administrative Assistant in April of 2006. As a Sea to Sky Corridor resident for over 14 years, Birgit brings to Quest extensive experience in customer service and administration. Originally from Toronto, Birgit was attracted to Whistler and then Squamish by the abundance of outdoor activities, the temperate climate and the natural beauty of the area.

Birgit is actively involved in Scouts Canada as a Cub leader and also volunteers during the winter as a Cross Country Rabbits Coach with the Whistler Nordics Club. In her spare time, Birgit enjoys exploring the trails (running, biking, hiking and skiing), and having fun with her family.

If I were able to go back and be a Quest student, my question would be: "How will the trend of over-structured leisure time combined with lack of experiences in nature and overuse of TV and high tech toys affect social, intellectual, moral and emotional development in today's children?"
