International Students

Students at Quest University Canada are from all corners of the world. We value the diversity on our campus (about 55% Canadian students, 25% US students and 20% are students from outside of North America). Our international students come from Bulgaria, Chile, Hong Kong, Germany, El Salvador, Bhutan, China, Switzerland, Uganda and many more places.

Close personal attention and various services are provided to make the transition to living in Canada an easy one.

Application

International students follow the same application procedures as Canadian and US Students. If a student has not been studying the majority of their coursework in English, they will need to provide a TOEFL or IETLS document. It is not a requirement for students to submit the SAT or ACT scores, but it is optional if the student feels it improves their application.

Scholarship

Since the fees are the same for all students regardless of where they come from, international students are eligible for all of the Quest scholarships, ranging from $1000- full tuition. Click here for more scholarship details.

Permits

After gaining admission into Quest's academic program, non-Canadian students will need to obtain a study permit in order to study in Canada. Study permit applications may take up to 3 months to process. Study permit application procedures vary from country to country. Please contact Admission Counsellor, Steven White at for more details.

Students coming to Canada from the US apply for their study permit when they cross the border into Canada. Although US students do not need to apply for their study permit in advance, we suggest that they do so in order to avoid unexpected complications at the border.

International students wishing to work while in Canada will be limited to on-campus work for the first school year. There are a number of jobs in the library, admissions, student services and food services. After completing a year of full time study, students can apply for an off campus work permit.

Medical

All non-Canadian students will automatically be registered for medical insurance with Quest which will start once they arrive in Canada. The cost for this is roughly $2.00CDN per day. International students may opt out of the medical insurance if they can demonstrate that they have adequate medical coverage.
