Quest is a community of scholars and learners.

Scholarship requires discipline, persistence, creativity, and passion.

The Quest faculty are chosen for these attributes and are anxious to teach students who share them. Learning is a full-time occupation at Quest - in classrooms, on field trips, in the library, and in the residences. We seek students who will thrive in this stimulating environment.

Every Quest class is a shared intellectual adventure; every day is an opportunity for personal growth. Thus, the quality of your classmates is crucial to the whole enterprise. The Quest University Scholarship program is designed to recognize the achievements - and the potential - of our best applicants so that we can attract to Quest those students eager to contribute their unique talents to our exciting community.

Quest Scholarship Opportunities

David W. Strangway Award for Excellence (full tuition)

Named for the University's first President and Founding Chancellor, the David W. Strangway Awards for Excellence honour the extraordinary career of Dr. Strangway and his vision that created Quest University Canada. The recipients of this award will have achieved very high levels of academic excellence combined with an outstanding record of leadership and service. Students with a high school average above 90% (3.75 US) will be considered for these awards.

A faculty Committee will begin reviewing applicants eligible for the Strangway Awards on March 15, 2013; winners will be notified no later than April 1, 2013. Six full tuition awards are offered each year.

Students applying for the David Strangway Award for Excellence must also submit a maximum 300 word personal introduction to the Faculty Selection Committee.

Quest University Canada Scholarships (up to $24,000/year)

The Quest program is rigorous, and an important criterion for a scholarship award is the applicant's academic record. This is not evaluated by strict numerical limits, however; we are more impressed by a student who has done well in the most challenging courses available rather than one who achieved the highest grades by choosing an easier route to graduation.

We are also interested in extracurricular activities - not the number of different clubs you joined, but the passion with which you pursued your non-academic interests and the impact you made on your compatriots and your community. Quest University Canada Scholarships are awarded to applicants who have demonstrated an eagerness to learn, an ability to lead, a willingness to contribute, and a passion for excellence.

Priority for Quest University Canada Scholarships is given to those who have submitted all necessary materials by March 15, 2013. Scholarship award decisions will be made after March 15th and recipients will be notified by email.
