The intensity of a fast-paced curriculum and a busy schedule can produce stress and anxiety, and of course invite the common winter cold. Quest recognizes that a student's personal well being is essential to his or her learning at university. To address all health and wellness concerns, professional University staff are available to direct students to resources, help resolve conflicts, and assist with any challenges that arise in students' daily lives and in their academic programs.
Student Affairs staff strive to make the Quest campus a close and welcoming community. Indeed, students often refer to it as their home away from home.
Medical Assistance
Located minutes from campus, the Sea-to-Sky Medical Clinic is the walk-in health care facility most commonly used by Quest students. There are also several doctors' offices in Squamish, as well as a hospital. Full listings and contact information are available in the Student Affairs Office. The Office also runs periodic shuttles into town for students who need transportation assistance.
Counseling
A clinical psychologist is available weekly to meet with individuals either by appointment or as a drop-in service. To schedule an appointment, students should contact Student Affairs staff or email .
Immunizations
Students attending Quest University Canada are encouraged to have all immunizations up-to-date prior to attending Quest. Routine immunizations include tetanus, diphtheria, polio, pertussis, measles, mumps, rubella, Hepatitis B, Meningococcal, and chickenpox (if not had the disease). Check with your health care provider if you are unsure of your immunization history. This will ensure that students have adequate protection against communicable diseases and are more prepared and less vulnerable for any activities that involve field trips and travel. Please bring your immunization record with you to Quest.
