Student life at Quest University Canada consists of a wide variety of exciting out-of-class activities. As a new University, students have had the opportunity to pioneer all the clubs and organizations on campus. Some of our organizations and clubs that have been developed so far include: Quest University Canada Students' Association EcoQuest, Model United Nations, the Adventure Club, Rock Climbing Club, the Cross-Country Skiing Club, the Spit (our student newspaper), the Student Representative Council (student government), Swing Dance Club, Gumboot Dancing, Free the Children, Arts & Culture Club, Footage Heads Society (film club), Writer's Club, the Math Club, Community & Service, Chess Club, Martial Arts Club and the Media Club. Quest's co-curricular program also includes athletic pursuits, such as our varsity-level soccer and basketball teams and intramurals. The Athletics & Recreation department features indoor rock climbing, mountain biking, trail runs, squash, street hockey, snowshoeing, ultimate frisbee, tennis, table tennis, dodgeball and volleyball. Students also take full advantage of the recreational opportunities here in Squamish and often organize trips over weekends and block breaks including climbing, hiking, skiing in Whistler, surfing in Tofino, snowshoeing and backcountry skiing. Students can also unwind with free yoga classes offered on campus several times per week.
